  • Purple-Seed Tarahumara Sunflower (Helianthus annuus): This rustic, beautiful sun-chaser comes from the “People who run”, the Tarahumara, in Central America. This ancient variety was cultivated because of its seeds, which display a beautiful purple colour, plus some white exceptions.

    The large flower is melliferous.

    This 3 mt tall plant adapts to poor soils and is ready in 80 days from transplant; it's very easy to grow, and, as every sunflower, direct sun exposure is it's main need.
