Lima Calico Travellers Bean (Phaseolus Lunatus)

Lima Calico Travelers Bean (Phaseolus Lunatus): large bean with bushy habit. Intense colour, lots of flavour, and creamy consistency. It does very well in hot temperatures; where the summer season is long, the plant can be exceptionally productive. In Lazio, where we cultivate it, it grows vigorously because of  the torrid, dry summers that have persisted for some years.  Please beware: some texts refer to this plant as a climber, but it was a mistake made by Doug Kurzer, the one who saved the variety and subsequently distributed it for free.
