Anahu Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): selected by Hawaiian producer Dr. Jim Gilbert, who named the variety after one of his students who died in the Korean War.
It is an extremely productive variety, a round fruit of beautiful uniform red, it weighs between 150 and 200 gm, and it is very sweet. Particularly suitable for hot, humid climates, and resistant to fungal diseases.
It is also resistant to diseases of the genus: nematode knot, fusarium, gray-spotted leaf, and a spotted strain of Wilt Virus. It is also tolerant to the tobacco mosaic virus.
