Purple Top Turnip (Brassica rapa)

Purple Top Turnip (Brassica rapa) :  early variety with good resistance to cold temperatures . Crunchy and sweet.
It has a good shelf life and it's generally ready in 55 days. As any other rustic variety, it is suitable for hard soils, the roots can reach up to 12cm; however, for consumption they should not exceed 7cm. 
The root is completely edible,  and out of the other varieties, this one is  particularly sweet and crunchy.
