Takanotsume Chili Pepper (Capsicum annum)

2,60 €Precio
  • Takanotsume Chilli (Capsicum annuum): even if, generally, Japanese chillies are not too spicy, this one is the exception. The bearing of the plant and the flowers classify it as capsicum annuum, it is also atypical in terms of taste : it does not present the peppery scent that characterises the cultivars of this species (here we find the Japanese taste); it is also remarkably spicy from 30,000 to 100,000 SHU even twice that. The plant reaches 80 cm in height, it is not particularly productive but thanks to the beauty of the berries it is extremely ornamental. The little horns of about 7 cm  grow in clusters and display a scarlet red color hence standing out of the the bush. Great for pot cultivation. For lovers of the traditional cuisine of the Rising Sun, and, of course,  collectors.
