Yellow Jalapeño (Capsicum annum)
Yellow Jalapeño (Capsicum annuum): unlike the Purple one, this variety does not differ much from the classic Jalapeño that caused this variety to become famous: the plant is very productive, fruits hold a regular shape, 7-8 cm long by 3 in diameter. When mature they acquire a beautiful bright yellow, no nuances, so it is highly ornamental. Taste and spice are the same as the classic green one: lots of taste nuances, intense, around 5,000 SHU. It is not too demanding in terms of temperature, during vegetative phase (it tolerates well even abrupt drops, as long as they are short) it is, like all chillies, demanding during germination so it is important to respect the minimum temperatures, you will soon be able to download our free guide.
