Early Prolific Straightneck Zucchini (Cucurbita pepo): the beautiful yellow skin surrounds its firm, tasty pulp. It comes from the United States where it is quite common mostly in local markets. Its name is opposite from the Crookneck, another popular zucchini, very similar, but with the neck bent on itself. These two are iconic in many places.
For consumption, it is necessary to collect them when they reach 10/15 centimeters; whereas for collecting the seeds, it is necessary to wait for them to reach maturity, at about 30cm. Ready in about 50 days from transplantation.
