Egg Tree (Solanum melongena): this variety is a real botanical curiosity.
The strange fruit is very similar to an egg, even in size. It's white in its earlier stages, and turn yellow, almost golden, when ready.
The beautiful flowers with yellow stamens will be the greatest view in every vegetable garden, or balcony in spring. Great for vases.
The fruits are edible, but it is a real shame to remove them from the plant.
To be sown in spring, very productive.
