Kaho Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus)
Kaho Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus): this variety from Japan boasts a small size but great taste. The fruits reach a maximum of 3 kg, they have very fine light skin, and its flesh displays a beautiful salmon colour. The taste is amazing, sweet and crunchy, with bits of exotic. The plant produces many fruits that ripe in 60 days after transplant. It is the right variety for small areas, and, with a bit of caution it can be cultivated in large pots; it is in fact, the least demanding for soil, the only recommendation is to avoid water stagnation. Great for self production as well as for small business.
