Naga Viper (Capsicum chinense)

Naga Viper Chili Pepper (Capsicum chinense): this variety is extremely spicy, created from a selection of Naga Morich, Bhut Jolokia and Trinidad Scorpion by the Chilli Pepper Company, an English company. It broke the World Giunness record in February 2011 with an average of 1,382,118 SHU, which means it is still one of the hottest peppers in the world. This variety had some problems in its early stages because it was not very stable, but nowadays the culltivars are all sufficiently compliant. It has elongated shape, wrinkled skin and the typical pointed end; its flavour is fruity, strong. This is a cultivar for connoisseurs, and real Chili lovers, the best amongst the Naga variety.
