Golden Beetroot (Beta vulgaris)

Golden Beetroot (Beta vulgaris): ancient variety from around 1820, or even earlier. It is sweet and full of flavour and displays a golden yellow colour. Even the green part has a great taste, it is also exceptionally aromatic. The plant is particularly rustic, withstands very cold and poor soils. This is definitely one of our favourite ones in terms of taste and beauty; it is great for gourmet preparations and for restaurateurs who want to impress guests.
