Broccoli Rabe from Sarno (Brassica oleracea): another Neapolitan excellence also known as Christmas broccoli. Large plant with lots of branches, its numerous medium size inflorescences, are dark green and develop early. Escalated maturation. This is a great alternative to the more cultivated Calabrian one. The reason to this being less cultivated is its maturation feature which makes it less suitable for trading. It is used in many traditional recipies.
