Half Carosello from Polignano (Cucumis melo)
Half Carosello from Polignano (Cucumis melo): one of the earliest caroselli and a very productive plant. Its fruits, of ribbed, green skin, are harvested when still immature, around 20 cm in length.
This is the heaviest Carosello due to its large diameter. To harvest the seeds it is necessary to let it reach maturity, when the skin turns white and it smells like a melon.
Important! caroselli are actually melons, which mean they can hybridize with each other, not with cucumbers as it is often believed.
