  • Corbarino tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum L.): ancient and traditional variety from the slopes of the Lattari Mountains where it is cultivated both on the coastal side (Amalfi Coast, Sorrento Peninsula) and on the internal side (southern border of the Sarno Valley), in the municipality of Corbara, whose hills have hold this traditional variety without water subsidy, i.e. IN DRY. Italian excellence that has been cultivated as a canned tomato or as a winter variety. It is shaped as a small pear, it has thick skin and the typical strong bittersweet taste, extremely aromatic, just like typical "old" tomatoes. The plant is exceptionally rustic and productive, totally undemanding; the berries keep well preserved even after harvested, they also keep well on the plant which allows for one harvest avoiding waste of fruit. In the three years of cultivation before distribution it has proven to be one of the most resistant to phytopathologies, it will provide great satisfaction. The plant is determined, ready in about 75 days after transplant.
