Jay's Ghost Scorpion Peach Chili Pepper (Capsicum chinense)

Jay's Ghost Scorpion Peach (Capsicum chinense): beautiful extremely spicy cultivar, a cross between Buth Jolokia X Trinidad Scorpion, selected in Pennsylvania by a grower named Jay, hence its name.  Although it is a relatively "new" variety, it is particularly stable; the fruits, numerous on the plant, have the appearance of a large Jolokia, wrinkled and displaying a beautiful pink colour, they are fragrant - don't allow yourself to be fooled by it though - the capsaicin content places it on 1,000,000 on the SHU scale. A particular variety, much loved by collectors.
