Macedonian Rezha Chili Pepper (Capsicum annum)
Macedonian Rezha Chili Pepper (Capsicum annuum): there isn’t lots of information about this mysterious cultivar, mildly spicy and of great taste. The plant is robust and rustic, early fruiting. The fruits reach 15 cm and are rough similar to elephant skin, hence it also receives the name of Elephant Pepper. The pulp is crunchy and super tasty, great for preserves; it is around 15,000 SHU.
The germination temperature should be watched, it should be high and constant; however, during development it tolerates any temperature changes very well. If cultivated in the North, it doesn’t need anticipated sowing given its rather short maturation time. It can be grown in pots too.
