  • New Yorker Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): this is a variety selected specifically for cold climates. It is extremely early, just over 60 days after transplant, the plant is determined, and of small size. It is also very productive, developing lots of round tomatoes (berries), scarlet red colour  that reach about 350 grams, their pulp is compact,  and tender, and holds few seeds, the consistency is fleshy, and very tasty. It allows for many uses, it is good for sauces and salads. It is mot recommended in areas with hot climate, on the opposite it thrives with cold, so it is good for short seasons as in altitude. It keeps well after harvest. An easy variety for harsh climates.
