Orangeglo Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus)
Orangeglo Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus): an extraordinary variety from overseas, a strong, vigorous, incredibly productive plant. The fruits have beautiful bright orange pulp, and a fresh, honeyed taste. It is easy to grow, hence perfect for beginners; Its particular rusticity will allow you to get away with a few mistakes; it actually tends not to "break" when subjected to water stress thanks to its thick skin, which also allows a good conservation after harvest. A large row is needed, it takes up more space than common varieties. Even if it is not amongst the oldest of our production, it appears in a catalogue in 1965. It is one of our favourites, thus we highly recommend it, we are sure that you will bee thrilled. It is simple delicious!
