  • Friggitello Pepper (Capsicum annum): the classic Neapoletan Friggitello that is widely found in recipes from many regions in Southern Italy cuisine.

     

    The plant is rustic and very productive, fruits are around 10-14 cm long. They can be eaten green, not totally ripe. They can be cooked or sautéed, as main or side dishes. Very fragrant and a slightly spicy.

    They can  be grown in pots on balconies, as well as on the ground.

    Friggitello seeds are easy to find on the market, but you should mind that they are not F1 if you intend to reproduce them.
