  • Murasaki Pepper (Capsicum annuum): a wonderful black pepper from Japan.

    The plant holds leaves with dark purple veins and produces numerous conical shaped peppers of 8/10 cm long.

    Its intense colour provides a threatening appearance, but the truth is, it isn't at all spicy, it's actually sweet.

    It can be eaten raw, in sushi or salads. There is no trace of the indigestible characteristic in thid pepper. Its crunchiness makes it a great snack too.

    Suitable for pot cultivation because it is beautiful, hence ornamental.

    To collect the seeds it is recommended to wait until they ripe, they will first be green, then dark purple, and bright red when fully developed and ready for seeding.
