Canaria Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): as its name suggests, this is a typical tomato from the Canaria Island, more precisely, from the south of Tenerife.
Slightly ribbed, of medium size, it can reach and exceed the 100 gm, it keeps well for a while after harvest.
It is sweet and versatile it allows for creativity in the kitchen, it is good to be consumed raw and in sauces, it is not very acidic but mostly sweet.
The plant is rustic, and productive so it is suitable for sustainable trade, it does not have excessive requirements of water or organic substances.
