Berao Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum)
Berao Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): this tomato has mysterious origins, the indeterminate plant is exceptionally vigorous, can reach and exceed 4 mts in height.
The berries are red, sweet, and oblong in shape, that can weight up to 100 gr; its taste is sweet and the texture is juicy. It has an early ripening and its production is long and very important.
It needs the right support and frequent trimming (axillary shoots), as well as the reduction of the foliar apparatus (leaves) in order to avoid the emerging of fungal diseases because of humidity.
It does not do well with excess of nitrogen in the soil which can lead to an excessive development of the green part and detriment of the fruits.
It will graze your attention and care with lots of juicy, sweet fruits. It is excellent for covering pergolas instead of other common climbers.
