Green Zebra Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum)

Green Zebra Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): beautiful variety of green tomatoes whose abundant small fruits hold yellow stripes over the green background. Its taste is intense, a bit acid and very aromatic, such as all the green tomatoes, its pulp is juicy and firm. It is versatile and can be consumed many ways but it gives its best when raw.

The plant is determined, very rustic and has good resistance to water stress and apical rotenes. Fruits need 75 days to ripen.

The origins of this beauty date back to the last century when it was inserted in the catalogue by Tom Wagner di Everett, in Washington 1983.

Thanks to its ornamental characteristics and its strength, it can be easily grown in pots on balconies.
