Polish Pastel Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum)
Polish pastel tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): this is a particular variety from Australia, developed by John Smarz; the fruit looks a bit like a pear, it is ribbed, its color is not regular, it is red, pink, and orange. It is extremely sweet and not acid at all, it is perfect to be consumed fresh but also fried, and it is actually perfect to be stuffed thanks to its low quantity of water, and not having lots of flesh.
It needs 90 days to be ready, and reaches around 400 gr.
This variety is not properly “ancient” as it is recently happening with tomatoes, there is an outgoing trend to create new varieties with diverse characteristics, but we decided to introduce it in our catalogue because of its particular characteristics .
