Yellow Pear Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum)
Yellow Pear Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum): this heirloom European variety (1700’s) is highly productive, gives clusters full of bright yellow, pear-shaped fruits that weight about 40 gm.
It is deliciously spicy and crunchy and can be easily be stored well after the harvest.
Even though it is indeterminate, it is suitable for cultivation. It is immune to apical rot, and tolerant to typical vessel stress.
It will fill your balcony with a nice cascade of yellow fruits. It likes full sun exposure, takes 75 days to ripening from transplant, and is very, very productive.
