Rendedora Tomatillo (Physialis ixocarpa)

Rendedora Tomatillo (Physalis ixocarpa): the largest amongst the variety. Its name translates into "productive" which indicate its main characteristic. The plant reaches 1 mt height, the berries are, compared to other tomatillos, very large and numerous They are ribbed and hold a beautiful pale yellow, their taste is not at all ordinary since it is a mixture of sweet and sour, its texture is compact but juicy. To be consumed raw/fresh (very good) in salads, also cooked for preparation of delicious sauces. This variety is very easy to cultivate, it also adapts well to the vases, where it also assumes an ornamental role.
