Tabasco Chili Pepper (Capsicum annum)

Short Tabasco Chilli Pepper (Capsicum annuum): the name can be deceiving,  this rare variety is not the Tabasco which gives the name to the famous sauce, that is a different species: Capsicum frutescens. The plant is very productive, the fruits are small, not longer than 30 mm and 10 mm in diameter, not too spicy, about 5,000 SHU, it holds the typical taste of the annum variety, strong and spicy; perfect for frying or recipes where the spice must enhance the dish and not cover it.
 The plant is small, it reaches 60 cm. It matures within 80 days of transplantation. Perfect for pot cultivation. Rare and ornamental.
