Verdolino Bean ( Phaseolus vulgaris)
Verdolino Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris): another Italian excellence from Lucania, the name is taken from the seed colour, a beautiful light green. The Verdolino has a particular taste, between the sweetness of the Cannellino and the intensity of the Borlotto, from which it inherits the skin consistency. It is good for soups, and with fish because of its lightness and resistance in cooking . The plant is dwarf, easy to grow, it does not require support. Sow in Spring, harvest in about 70 days.
