Dickinson Pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata)
Dickinson Pumpkin (Cucurbita moschata): heirloom American variety very close to our hearts. Easy to grow, it produces many fruits per plant that easily reach 15-20 kg.
The flavour is excellent, and its nickname “butter” totally fit the variety.
The pulp is very sweet, like all "moschatas", the plant is vigorous and needs to be trimmed. It can be kept for long periods after harvest.
The shape of the pumpkins is oval with small variations. It is also suitable for trading due to its particular productivity.
