Rounded Padana Pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo): also known as the Americana, it is cultivated in the areas of Cremona e Mantova as a filling for ravioli, and for mustard.
It contains lots of large seeds, thanks to its flavour, it is excellent for consumption. If harvested young, it tastes like zucchini; 120 days to maturity.
The origin is not completely ascertained but should be Mexico, however, after long selection, it can be considered an Italian pumpkin.
