Genoan Zucchini (Cucurbita pepo)
Genoan Zuchhini (Cucurbita pepo): this variety is typical from Liguria, but along with the Romanesco, it is one of the most widespread in Italy. It has smooth, light green skin. It must be eaten before it is fully ripe, around 20 cm, when the pulp is still sweet and tender.
Excellent production of both, zucchinis and their delicious flowers. It is the earliest of the variety, ready for consumption 25 days after transplanting.
For collecting the seeds, let the it grow until it reaches its maximum size, 3-5 kg, and becomes yellowish.
